A new shot. Or a new direction for your clip.
The Wan family covers two different starting points in the studio: create a shot with frame guidance, or edit a source clip using a compatible video-editing route. Choose the task first and keep the inputs clear.

What can I upload
with Wan?
Pick the workflow you want. Each route has its own supported inputs; the studio shows the controls for your selected mode.
Create with frames
The Wan 3.0 integration offers frame-guided video generation. Use the controls and limits shown for the selected provider route.
Provider input documentation ↗Edit an existing clip
The source-video editing route starts from an uploaded clip and can use an image to guide the edit. This is a separate workflow from setting opening and closing frames.
Provider input documentation ↗Available routes depend on the connected provider and your workspace. Uploading a file or opening a model page never starts a generation.
Build a useful creative test.
These are ways to plan a marketing shot, not promises of ad approval, higher sales or identical results.
Refresh an existing scene
Use a permitted source clip and give one clear editing instruction. Inspect motion, product geometry and background details in the result.
Place a person into a clip
Choose Person in a video, add a permitted person photo and a source video, then review the compatible model and quote. Replacement quality can vary.
Build a new product shot
Prepare your opening composition and describe the scene you want to make. Use the frame-guided workflow rather than the source-editing mode.
Bring the idea.
Keep the controls simple.
- Choose your destination
Select TikTok, Instagram, YouTube or another destination. The studio prepares the matching composition where your model supports it.
- Add your media and direction
Use a permitted photo, frame pair or source clip for the selected workflow. Tell the model what should move and what must stay consistent.
- Review, create and download
Check the exact model, inputs and server credit quote. Create only when ready, then review your completed asset before publishing.
Know what this workflow can do.
- Wan 3.0 generation and Wan 2.7 editing are different versions and routes; their inputs are not interchangeable.
- The editing route handles short source segments. Longer supported uploads use a full quoted segment plan, with possible visual changes at the joins.
- A source-video edit does not accept separate start/end frames. The selected mode determines the upload controls.
- Your final quote depends on the actual model, duration, resolution and inputs. Review the full cost before explicit generation; longer projects can require multiple charged clips.
- Use media you have permission to upload. Provider content rules and screening still apply, and completed media needs your review.
Your questions, answered.
Is Wan 3.0 the same model as Wan 2.7 editing?
No. The studio identifies the version and task before you create. Wan 3.0 generation and Wan 2.7 source-video editing have different inputs and limits.
Can I upload a longer source video?
Where the selected editing route supports it, the studio prepares multiple segments and shows the complete credit quote before submission. It does not guarantee seamless identity or motion across every segment.
How many credits does a video cost?
The studio calculates a server quote from the selected model, duration, resolution and inputs. There is no single fixed credit price for every video. Check monthly plans, then review the exact quote before creating.
