How to keep AI brand images consistent across a campaign

Define brand rules, assign clear reference roles and compare controlled variations before expanding an AI image campaign.

Separate fixed brand rules from creative choices

Consistency is easier to review when the rules are written down. Decide what must stay fixed across the campaign: the actual product, core palette, material appearance, tone and any approved logo treatment. Then identify what may change, such as the background, camera distance or seasonal setting. Without that distinction, a new variation can gradually redefine the brand instead of extending it.

Create a small approval sheet with one reference image and three or four review questions. For example: Is the bottle still the correct shape? Does the scene use the intended warm neutrals? Is the product the visual focus? Is there space for our final headline? Use the same questions for every candidate rather than judging each image against a different mood board.

Give each reference an explicit role

Use a product photograph for identity, a separate image for composition if the model supports it, and one approved image for the desired visual treatment. Avoid sending several competing styles without explaining which quality you want from each. Remove irrelevant assets rather than filling every available reference slot. Check the selected model's limits and how it interprets references before planning the batch.

Adobe distinguishes style guidance from composition guidance: style references influence the look and feel, while composition references concern arrangement. Runway also documents separate reference workflows and warns that adding variables creates more variation. These are model-specific controls, not universal switches in every generator. In AI Campaign Studio, a brand kit supplies context such as palette, voice and audience; it does not train a private brand model or lock every pixel to your identity.

Test one controlled variation at a time

An original brief to adapt: Use the attached product image for the bottle's appearance. Create a restrained campaign image with a warm grey background, a matte stone surface and soft light from the left. Keep the product upright, with a quiet composition and clear space to the right for the final headline. For the next version, change only the surface from stone to pale wood. This is a planning example, not a tested guarantee of matching results.

Keep the model, reference set, crop and brief version recorded while making that comparison. Review the quote for each explicit request. If the variation changes the product or the lighting unexpectedly, revise the direction before adding more backgrounds. Do not assume that copying a prompt into another model reproduces the same result, or that selecting a more expensive pricing group makes it more faithful to your brand.

  • Compare candidates together at the same display size.
  • Score product accuracy and visual direction separately.
  • Record the specific change you want before generating again.

Keep an approved master and a clear handoff

Save the chosen image, source references and final brief as your campaign master set. Use that set for later variations, but compare new results against the original product photograph as well. Repeatedly using a generated variation as the next reference can carry an unnoticed error forward. Keep the approved source visible so a changed label or distorted cap does not become the new normal.

Finish logos, exact typography, prices and other precise information in the final design. Review rights and provider terms for the inputs you share, and get the appropriate brand approval before publishing. When a still becomes a video frame, review motion as a new asset rather than treating image approval as video approval. AI Campaign Studio by Bissolux connects the working assets; your approval process is what decides whether they belong in the campaign.
